from Ann Marie 2nd March 2010

Anna was a most beloved aunt. I will miss her extraordinary common sense, her ability to get right to the heart of the matter, and the fun we had. As a ten-year-old I knew her as a traveling companion and single-about-town; as a twenty-one-year-old I watched her as a young married woman with her children; as a fifty-year old I saw her as a contemporary and most definitely a dear, dear friend. I write for myself, but I know my husband and children will miss her presence in our lives (despite the 3000 miles that lay between us). I thank God for having let me know her in so many ways.
